2008 Alfalfa Crop

In 2008, alfalfa was harvested generating approximately $3,000 CDN. The Canadian Foodgrains Bank did not allocate the funds to a specific project, but instead provided half the money to a food account accessible to missions sponsored by the United Church of Canada, and half the money was allocated to overseas mission sponsored by the Alliance Church. In 2009, a different field in the same half section was selected as the CFB field and the former alfalfa field was left fallow.
